Winter Storm Moving Across Indiana, Governor to Provide Update

Winter storm warnings continue across Northwest Indiana; winter storm warnings have also been issued for most of the state with ice storm warnings for counties closer to the Ohio River.  There are numerous cancellations across the Region and we have a list posted here at our website. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is scheduled to provide a media briefing this morning with heads from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), Indiana State Police, and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to update Hoosiers. Here is a link to the livestream, scheduled to begin at 10 am Central/11 am Eastern. More flights are being canceled as a winter storm begins to stretch two-thousand miles across the nation. It’s set to cover the Midwest in heavy snow, bringing freezing rain and gusty winds all the way to Maine. The storm already hit Colorado and New Mexico. Missouri, Illinois and Oklahoma have declared emergencies.
