IHSAA Foundation Awards Grants to Two NWI Schools

The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Foundation says six member schools, including two from the Region, were chosen to receive a $1,000 grant to support efforts to start or enhance a Student Advisory Committee. Local recipients were Griffith and Morgan Township High Schools. The financial support allows committee members to attend the IHSAA’s Student Leadership Conference, held last week (July 30), and also host meetings throughout the year to develop leadership skills, and assist in the committee’s required community service project or event.
