State and local officials continue to encourage residents impacted by recent storms to report damage to Indiana 211. They said Indiana 211 is also a place to find local resources. The Indiana Department of Homeland Security says these include meals and food pantries, pet food assistance, clothing and cleaning supplies, public showers, mental health resources, testing drinking water, checking for mold, vaccinations, debris removal, shelters and cooling centers. Officials also say Indiana 211 has published an online Indiana Disaster Dashboard that breaks down damage reports collected by Indiana 211 by county and request types, which helps support recovery efforts and paints an overall picture of the impact the August 11, 2026, events had on Hoosiers.
