In Valparaiso, the city is hosting a Neighborhood workshop to promote neighborhood engagement and foster stronger connections within the community. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 5:30 to 7 pm. at the Forest Park Welter Room on Sheffield Drive. The city says the interactive workshop is designed for both established neighborhood leaders and residents who want to get more involved in their neighborhoods. The topic, “Who to Call at City Hall” is designed to help residents understand how to connect with city resources through common neighborhood scenarios, providing guidance on who to contact. Information on how to sign up is at the city’s website. Here is a link for more details.
