Crown Point Wreaths Across America Ceremony

In Crown Point, the Julia Watkins Brass Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the City of Crown Point say they will honor fallen heroes by placing wreaths on their graves at the Historic Maplewood and Maplewood Memorial cemeteries. The Wreaths Across America Ceremony will begin at noon Saturday, December 13, 2025, inside the gymnasium at Solon Robinson Elementary. Wreath laying will follow at the historic Maplewood and Maplewood Memorial cemeteries. Crown Point Mayor Pete Land will deliver brief remarks, and Rev. Mark Wilkins will lead the opening and closing prayers. Keynote remarks will be delivered by veteran Jim Chancellor, president of the American Veterans Collection, and veteran Danielle Green, of the Wounded Warrior Project.
