The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration says Indiana residents can call 2-1-1 to find local warming centers during upcoming winter weather. The agency said warming centers will be open across the state for those in need of a safe and warm place to stay as nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to around zero. Indiana 211 provides local community information on warming center locations and hours. Hoosiers can also access a wide range of services through Indiana 211, including: Food assistance programs and local pantries; Warming centers and shelters during cold weather; and, Help with housing, utility support, mental health services, and more.
