In Valparaiso, Franciscan Health broke ground this week on a new medical office building at the southeast corner of State Roads 2 and 49 on the southeast side of the city. The two-story building will house an ExpressCare, primary care and specialty physician offices, diagnostic imaging, CT, MRI, ultrasound and laboratory services, a news release said. “Franciscan Health has been serving Valparaiso and the surrounding communities for many years with ExpressCare, Working Well, diagnostic imaging, primary care and physician specialists,” said Franciscan Health Michigan City President and CEO Dean Mazzoni. “We are excited to be significantly expanding our presence in Valparaiso with this project. We will soon be offering increased access to high quality Franciscan services, renowned for delivering healthcare with joy, compassion and love, in one convenient location.” The new medical office building is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2026.
