EB Lanes Closed I-94 just past Toll Rd.

A rollover crash with injuries that occurred around 2:30 pm this afternoon still has all eastbound lanes of I-94 closed at Ripley St.due to a crash just east of the Indiana Toll Rd.  State police are forcing all vehicles off of I-94 at Ripley St. (Highway 51).  Traffic as of 3:50pm is backed up to I-65.   Traffic tipsters were reporting major backups westbound I-94 from a little before State Rd. 249.  Also, drivers should expect heavier than normal volume on Ridge Rd, and Willowcreek Rd. in Portage as traffic coming off of I-94 is taking those roads as alternates.
