Lake Co Costs Rept to be Released

This Monday morning, [Dec 10 2012, 11am, Lake County Commissioners' Courtroom]  the Lake County Board of Commissioners and Lake County Council are planning to release details of a study on the cost of county government. The Core Service Cost Report analyzes county level costs over a five-year period from 2007-to-2012. Lake County Financial Consultant Larry Blanchard, who prepared the report, says the study focuses on “traditional official services” provided by the Board of Commissioners, County Council, Clerk, Auditor, Treasurer, Recorder, Surveyor, Coroner, Prosecutor, Courts, Sheriff, Plan Commission, Fairgrounds, Weights and Measures, and similar departments.
