The Lake County Coroner's Office says the case of Levi Evans has been reopened. Coroner Merrilee Frey issued a press release today stating the case is being reopened to evaluate the possibility of additional factors that may have contributed to the circumstances of his death. The Times reports the 17 year old's body was found by three nearby residents of Ventura Estates, around 6:35, on August 8th, in a field behind a restaurant, near Lake Central School on U.S. 41, with no signs of apparent trauma or foul play.
