If your seeking some work this winter the Indiana Department of Transportation has some openings. INDOT Spokesman Matt Deitchley says they need 16 snow plow drivers to work in the Lake County area, mostly near Gary. Deitchley says applicant requirements consist of a valid CDL and a high school diploma or the equivalent there of, and beyond that some experience wouldn't hurt either.  Potential employees should apply at the INDOT Gary Subdistrict building, located at 7601 Melton Road in Gary, on Friday morning, October 19^th, between 9 and 2pm.  For more information, go to www.in.gov/spd/2334.htm, or visit either INDOT's Facebook or Twitter pages.
