Six West Nile Deaths Statewide

The latest statistics from the Indiana Department of Health show 61 human cases of West Nile virus in the state, five in Lake, three in Porter and one in LaPorte County.  The Indianapolis Star says six of those cases of the mosquito-transmitted disease have resulted in death, reportedly all downstate.
