In Hammond, dedication ceremonies were held at Calumet College of St. Joseph for a new addition that includes science labs, art rooms, a student commons, a new library entrance, the Bishop Andrew G. Grutka Social Justice Archives, bookstore, and the Crimson Cafe. Bishop Dale Melczek of the Diocese of Gary was among those taking part in Thursday's ceremony at the college campus in north Hammond.
