National Farm Safety and Health Week is this week.. the Indiana Youth Institute is trying to spread the word at how the Indiana Rural Health Association is working to spread broadband access, to provide better care for kids who live in rural areas. The institute says a 2008 IU study found 98-percent of rural counties fail to meet the U-S benchmark for the ratio of primary care specialists per residents, but Bill Stanczykiewiewicz, President and CEO of the Indiana Youth Institute, says those gaps are being closed thanks in part to telemedicine.
