The Indiana Toll Road “i-Zoom” brand and colors are being retired this year, and being replaced with the E-ZPass logo and purple color scheme. Since 2007, “i-Zoom,” “i-Zoom Girl” in orange and gray have been the symbol for electronic tolling on the Indiana Toll Road. With the change, Indiana will join 14 other states sharing the E-ZPass name.
All the I-Zoom signs are coming down now, but the Customer Service Center phone number remains the same at 1-888-496-6690. However, there is a new website in effect at www.ezpassin.com.
This is a change in name only; the transition will not affect any i-Zoom account holder or any other E-ZPass user. The goal is to make electronic tolling on the Indiana Toll Road more recognizable to out-of-state motorists, which they say make up nearly 65 percent of ITR total users. Indiana Toll Road officials say those unfamiliar with i-Zoom are often unsure if their E-ZPass transponders are compatible.
