The 34th Annual Popcorn Festival "pre-week" events are underway culminating in the Orville Redenbacher Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday.  Kicking off festival actvities was the official unveiling of the Orville Redenbacher statue at 4 p.m. this afternoon near Central Park Plaza in downtown Valparaiso.  Participants at the unveiling were encouraged to wear a bow tie.  More info about Valpo's popcorn fest is available at the following link:  http://valparaisoevents.com/pdf/2012_popcorn_fest_event_day_schedule.pdf
