Interim Director Named for Expo Ctr

The Porter County Commissioners this week announced Ken Blaney will serve as interim director of the Porter County Expo Center. Blaney is the husband of Porter County Councilwoman Laura Blaney. Blaney is a businessman and former owner of Kelsey's Steak House. Brian Schafer resigned as director of the Expo Center and the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso last month. Earlier this month Michelle Smith was appointed interim director of the Opera House.
