Christie's will auction in November an "ultra-rare" watch from musician and watch collector Eric Clapton by Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe. Only two of this particular model were cased in platinum. Made in 1987, it's described as a "platinum perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with moon phases" with an estimated value of $2,668,650 to $4,278,080 or 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 Swiss francs.
