Comedian Phyllis Diller had a "wacky" wig and costume room in her Los Angeles home, shown in a Dec. 6, 2006 photo. When Diller, who died Aug. 20 at 95, was asked by the L.A. Times a decade ago how many wigs she had, she said, "I never counted." The 10,000 sq.-ft. home has 22 rooms, many of which she named. The living room was the "Bob Hope Salon," after her mentor.
