Shots were fired outside the US Capitol this afternoon, with a capitol policeman injured and a female gunman reportedly killed. ABC's Ann Compton described the scene near where the incident occurred as the kind of protective response that Washington is now all to familiar with conducting. ABC's Jim Avila is outside the Capitol building and says access is still restricted, but the lockd own has been lifted on Capitol Hill - following reports of gunshots fired outside.
