A young boy playing on a dune at Mount Baldy in Michigan City Friday is rsecued after being swallowed up by a sand hole.  After about three and a half hours Friday, workers lifted the child from under eleven-feet of sand using heavy machinery and shovels and he was taken to a Chicago hospital.   NIPSCO and local construction firms also responded.  National Lakeshore officials say Mount Baldy in Michigan City will remain closed the rest of the weekend.  A posting on the Indiana Dunes Facebook page says the child, who spent over three hours in the hole, is reported to be in “pretty good shape”.  The dune is the park's tallest, standing at 124 feet along Lake Michigan, equivalent to a 12-story building.
