The Indiana Department of Labor today launched a new statewide safety initiative aimed at reducing worker injury and illness rates in the healthcare industry. The initiative is focused on addressing the most common injuries and illnesses found within the healthcare industry, including slips, trips and falls; repetitive stress injuries; incidental needlesticks; and exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
