A six-vehicle crash in Calumet City left ten people injured, two critically, and traffic was shutdown for several hours. The Times reports the incidents occurred around 1:45 Friday afternoon on Wentworth Avenue, near River Oaks Drive, beginning with a vehicle rear-ending another, which caused a chain-reaction of crashes. Published reports say the names of those injured have not been released, but say all are adults, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The Times reports streets closed down due to the crashes were all reopened by 8:30pm.
