The manhunt for a convicted murdered who was accidentally allowed to go free is over. Published reports say 44-year-old Steven Robbins was taken into custody without incident Friday night in Kankakee, Illinois, due to various leads provided to authorities. Robbins was serving a 60-year sentence in Indiana for murder, and was brought to the Cook County courthouse for a hearing on unrelated charges, but instead of being returned to the prison in Michigan City he was released due to a clerical error.
