No injuries were reported after a fire this afternoon in Whiting. The Times reports the fire occurred in a three-story building, located on the 14-hundred block of 119^th Street, which housed a dress business on the first floor and apartments on the second floor. Published reports say the fire began after 4pm this afternoon and the Red Cross was assisting displaced residents. No further information is available at this time.
