Interim Police Chief Named in Hobart

Today's Times says Hobart's Deputy Chief of Police Lt. Vance Thompson will serve as interim police chief for the city until someone is named to the post. The paper says Jeff White stepped down earlier this week, in a mutual decision between White and the mayor. White had been police chief for about ten months, and will move into investigations, the article said.
