A free job readiness and technology skills workshops for disabled veterans of all ages is  being offered by JobSource, the Community Employment division of Opportunity Enterprises.  Workshops will be held November 27th and 29th and December 4th, 6th, 11th and 13th, from 930 am to 11:30am at the Porter County JobSource Office, 56 S. Valparaiso Street in Valparaiso and the Lake County JobSource Office, 1465 E. 84th Street in Merrillville.

  According to Allison Thomas of Opportunity Enterprises, each workshop will be taught by highly trained employment professionals, and will focus on one of the following topics:  Introduction to Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, Resume Preparation, Mock Interviewing, Job Searching, Job Development and Transitioning to Civilian Life.

Thomas says these workshops are being provided through a generous grant from the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust.  Visit http://cst.dav.org for more details.
