In Valparaiso, the Vale Park Road Bridge over State Road 49 is scheduled to open this Wednesday (Nov 21), according to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).  INDOT Spokesman Matt Deitchley says the bridge features a back-lit sign that says “Valparaiso”, decorative lighting, and a textured side meant to give the idea of wind-swept dunes. Deitchley also says a roundabout system is used at the end of the ramps to get on and off State Road 49 and onto Vale Park Road, which he says is a little different, but more efficient and safer. The project, which was scheduled to be wrapped up by the end of the month, will be opening about a week and a half ahead of schedule. More pictures here at INDOT Northwest's Facebook page::
