If you have ever wondered what it would be like to experience the inner workings of being a police officer, then you need to sign up for the 2nd annual “Citizen's Police Academy”. Michigan City Police report the program begins on October 16th, and will run for six weeks, with each two-and-a-half hour class starting at 6pm, at the Emergency Operations Center in City Hall. Classes are free, but the class size is limited to 33 participants, and anyone interested must be at least 21 years old. For more information regarding the program and how to get an application, contact Michigan City Police.
