A minor league baseball player from central Indiana hits his first professional home run and it lands in his dad's hands. Marty Gregor drove five hours from Carmel, just outside Indianapolis, to Iowa to watch his son, Houston Astros prospect Conrad Gregor, currently playing for the Class A Quad City River Bandits. Gregor sent the ball deep to right-center field where his father caught it. The first baseman/outfielder did not appear to be aware his father Marty caught the ball. The three-run homer put Quad Cities ahead 5-2 over the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
