Homicide Suspect Remains At-Large After Discharge

A 21 year old Lake Station man allegedly involved in a homicide and wounded on December 1st in Gary, in the 62-hundred block of West 29th Avenue, and transported to a Chicago hospital for treatment remains at large after being discharged in February without being arrested. Gary Police Corp. Gabrielle King told the Region News Team Mark Anthony Cherry is described as multiracial, with a light complexion, 5'7”, weighing 150 pounds, with very short black hair, brown eyes, with a five o'clock shadow beard and mustache and a tattoo of a rosary on his right arm. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact your local law enforcement agency.
