The second of two people wanted for robbing a Lafayette man last month at gunpoint was arrested last week in Hammond by the US Marshals Service and Hammond Police. Indiana State Police Lowell Post announced today 33 year old Joshua Flores, of Hammond, was apprehended at a relative's home in Hammond on April 18th, and 30 year old Amber Dovichi, of Cedar Lake, who was arrested in Cedar Lake on March 19th, are each charged with armed robbery and criminal confinement.
State Police report the victim had met the Cedar Lake woman over the internet and met with her a second time on March 15th, with Flores accompanying her. All three drove to Hammond from Crown Point, where Flores then left the vehicle, and went into a residence only to later return to the vehicle where he allegedly put a gun to the back of the victim's head and demanded everything in his pockets. After the victim complied he was driven back to his vehicle and released, upon which he reported the events to State Police.
