Another member of the Porter County Sheriff's Office is being credited with using CPR to save a person's life. The latest instance took place on Saturday evening, in the 800 block of Baltimore Road, near South Haven, where Corp. William Knapp performed CPR on a 35 year old woman who had stopped breathing. The woman later informed officers she took some medication intended for her terminally ill grandmother who has cancer.
This incident follows last week's actions by Sgt. Jeremy Chavez, who for the second time since December, saved the life of an infant who had stopped breathing by performing CPR.
