Gallup Ranks N. Dakota Happiest Place to Live in US

The pollsters at Gallup are out with a new survey ranking the happiest and unhappiest places to live. ABC News reports it's the happiest state in the country and for the first time in five years, it wasn't Hawaii. A new Gallup well--being index ranks North Dakota number one and its neighbor, South Dakota number two. Gallup researchers based their rankings on how over 176 thousand Americans rated their own health, employment and education. They believe the oil boom in the Dakotas raised their stock. West Virginia is where you'll find the unhappiest people. Kentucky was a close second for the biggest buzzkill.
Indiana came in at number 40, up two spots from last year.
