Pelath Blasts Proposal to Build Soccer Stadium in Indy

The Indiana House Ways and Means Committee has approved a proposal to put state dollars toward the construction of a soccer stadium in downtown Indianapolis. Indiana State Representative Scott Pelath, of Michigan City, who reacted to the proposal today on Twitter, says a wealthy businessman went to Republican leaders this week asking for state tax money to build the soccer stadium.
Pelath says this is not an investment in the Middle Class, but yet another very rich man asking to spend taxpayer money to build another sports venue. A location hasn't been chosen yet.
