Snow is falling today from Ohio to Washington DC and in the Northeast after dumping a-half foot of snow or more in parts of northwest Indiana. The National Weather Service in Chicago reports DeMotte received a total of six-inches of snow from Monday's storm, while parts of Valparaiso saw as much as five-and-a-half inches. Morocco and Wheatfield also receive around five inches of snow.
This latest storm adding to an already chart-topping winter. It's the snowiest on record in Indianapolis. In Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia, this season's snowfall ranks in their top five. And in New York's Central Park the snow is 300 percent above average this season - over a foot more snow than in Anchorage, Alaska.
