AUDIO: Update on Mount Baldy Investigation

Some very preliminary findings as the investigation continues into why a giant sand dune in the Region swallowed up a little boy last summer... Mount Baldy in Michigan City remains closed nearly seven months after a young boy was miraculously rescued from a sand hole in July, and the investigation into why the dune opened up and swallowed him up continues. In August, crews used ground-sensing radar from the Environmental Protection Agency to scan the sand, and Bruce Rowe, Supervisory Park Ranger and Public Information Officer for Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, told the Region News Team today they have more information but certainly not any answers as to why things happened.  Rowe also says the investigation is still very open-ended and that it's going to take some time to learn what's happening under Mount Baldy.
