Water service is back, but all residents south of Main Street in Griffith remain under a 48-hour boil order after a water main break around 9 am Sunday completely drained the town's South Water Tower, which contains approximately one-million gallons of water.  Griffith Town Council President Rick Ryfa gave us an update and you can hear our interview today online here at News Audio on Demand.
Ryfa says they have a Code Red notification system and residents not yet signed up can get sign up info at the town's website: http://www.griffith.in.gov  .
