A chain-reaction crash involving four semis shutdown the west bound lanes of highway US-30 just east of US-31 near Plymouth in Marshall County for over an hour Monday afternoon. According to published reports, a semi heading westbound near King Rd. rear-ended another semi causing two other semis to become involved in the crash sending one of the drivers to an area hospital with minor injuries. Indiana State Police report that the crash dislodged a large tank holding argon gas which landed in the westbound lanes. WSBT TV reports some of the tank gas did leak out but Hazmat crews were not needed. The westbound lanes of US-30 were re-opened around 4p.m. CST.
