KFC founder Colonel Sanders' suit and clip-on bow-tie fetched $21,510 on June 22, 2013 in an auction held by Heritage Auctions. Consigned by Cincinnati resident Mike Morris, whose family house was bought by Col. Sanders and where Sanders lived with the family for six months, Morris was given the suit by the Colonel, who was close to Morris' family. "Kentucky Colonel" was an honorary title.
