Photos: Versace's Home Gets $25M Price Cut

The late Gianni Versace's former 10-bed Miami home received a deep price cut of $25 million. The house first hit the market at $125 million in 2012; By November, the listing was cut by $25 million to $100 million. The price was cut $25 million again at the end of May, so it's now listed at $75 million. The Italian designer purchased it in 1992 for about $10 million. He spent some $33 million expanding it and adding a mosaic pool lined in 24-karat gold. He was murdered outside the home in 1997, and Telecom entrepreneur Peter Loftin bought the home for $19 million. He later turned it into a boutique hotel, Villa by Barton G, in 2009.
