Welcome to X-Rock 103.9

Remember those big concerts? Venues like the Amphitheater, the Hammond Civic Center, The Star, and Region rock clubs like Point East and Club Dimensions, all gave us a steady stream of great live music during the 60's, 70's and into the 80's. We'd all show up to school the next day wearing our concert shirts -- badges of honor from the smoke-filled rooms and arenas rocking out with Rush, Sabbath, UFO and others. And at home we had the albums purchased at the great independent and local chain stores like S&J Stereo and Hegewisch Records. Check some of those great Region Rock Memories here.

X-Rock 103.9's mission is to recapture those days with a wider variety of VINTAGE classic rock that reflects the way radio and our own teenage turntables created the soundtrack to our lives! We do it with personalities who grew up with you here in Northwest Indiana -- the land we came to call “The Region!” We also provide you the Region's news, traffic and weather to keep you up-to-date here at home. Chicago has plenty of radio stations for people who live in Chicago. But the Region takes care of its own -- and this station belongs to the Region!
